Ronald N. "Mike" Dyer

Batavia - Mr. Ronald N. "Mike" Dyer, 77, of Batavia, an engineer and designer at Xerox Corp., for 20 years prior to his retirement, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Crossroads House in Batavia.

Mr. Dyer was born April 9, 1931 in Chillicothe, Ohio, a son of the late Benjamin and Millie (Sater) Dyer.

He served during Korean Conflict with the Air Force.  He was a member of the 1st Bombardment Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho and received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Air Medal. 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo (Crawley) Dyer whom  he married December 15, 1952; a daughter,  Valarie Judd of Caledonia; a son, Brian Keith Dyer of Batavia; a daughter-in-law, Delores Dyer of Batavia; a brother: Larry Dyer of Ohio; 3 sisters, Alice (Frank Pilarczyk) Boothe of TN, Jenene (Terry) Bope and Judy (Paul) Flowers, both of Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Michelle Dyer, Dana Bowen and David Bowen, all of Batavia, Christopher Judd, Michael Judd Linda Judd and Jason Judd, all of Caledonia; several nieces and nephews. 

He is the father of the late Michael S. Dyer and Linda Sue Dyer and brother of the late Norma Eads.

There are no prior calling hours.  Services will be at the Convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads House, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, NY 14021.
