Mr. Charles G. Draper
Batavia - Mr. Charles G. Draper, 80, of Batavia, employee at R.E. Chapin Manufacturing Co., Batavia for 14 years, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Mr. Draper was born February 8, 1928 in Carlton, a son of the late Samuel and Beatrice Clark Draper.
Mr. Draper enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pool. He served during World War II with the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Gould) Draper whom he married June 12, 1951; seven sons, Jeff (Tammy) Draper of Batavia, Roger (Diane) Draper of Batavia, Chuck (Wanda) Draper of Vt.,, Dennis (Betty) Draper of LeRoy, Brian Draper of Vt., Gary Draper of Batavia and Andrew Draper of W. Va.; three daughters, Janice Williams of W. Va., Diana Draper of Batavia, and Charlotte (Albert "Butch") Jepsen of Pavilion; one brother, LaVerne (Katie) Barber of Batavia; two sisters: Hazel Howard of Scottsville and Shirley (Paul) Heiderman of Akron; 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, several sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was the brother of the late Roger, Lloyd and Eugene Barber and Sam Draper.
