Mrs. Teresa M. Foster

Alexander - Mrs. Teresa M. Foster, 77, of Alexander, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.

Mrs. Foster was born December 11, 1930 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late John and Mary Szymkowiak.

A member of St. Anthony's Church, Mrs. Foster enjoyed reading, all animals especially hummingbirds and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Foster; three sons, Lawrence ( Deborah Daniels) Hicks, Mark Hicks of Batavia and Jason Kinsey of Alexander; a daughter, Margaret (Steven) Jensen of Attica; a sister, Irene (late William) Janiak of East Aurora; 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was the mother of the late Cory Lee Kinsey who died December 30, 1971 and sister of the late John, Robert, Margaret and Victoria Szymkowiak, Rose Krieger, Mary Kazperzak and Regina Land.

There are no prior calling hours. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia.  Burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Cheektowaga. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to United Memorial Medical Center, Attention 3rd Floor, 127 North Street, Batavia, New York 14020 or to the Alexander Fire Department, P.O.
