Alice Rose Lynch, 86, of Oakfield, passed away on Sunday (October 26, 2014) at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Alice was born November 1, 1927 in Aquila, Italy, a daughter of the late Americo and Anna (Ercole) Paolucci.
A member of St. Padre Pio Parish, Alice was an assembler at General Motors in Rochester and also worked at the former Sylvania's Plant in Batavia.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Susan) Lynch of Oakfield and Leo (Deborah) Lynch Jr. of Alabama, NY; grandchildren, Steven (Veronica), Matthew, Yvette (Justin) and Brittany; a brother, Umberto Paolucci of Florida; two sisters, Gina Shultz and Ida Monachino, both of Batavia; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Leo Edward Lynch Sr. and her son, James Lynch. Alice is a sister of the late Joseph Paolucci and Mary Russo.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Saint Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecilia's Church, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Oakfield.
