Allan Ferguson, 85, of Byron, died Thursday (May 29, 2014) at home.
Allan was born March 26, 1929 in Byron, a son of the late Harold and Florence (Munger) Ferguson.
He owned and operated Ferguson Builders in Byron. Allan was a member of the North Bergen Presbyterian Church, American Legion, Merrill-Sacket-White Post #575 and the Masons-Hesperus Lodge, all in Bergen. A veteran, he served with the United States Army.
Survivors include his children, Roxanne (the late Daniel) Webster of Bradenton, FL, Kathy (Joe) Spataro of Pavilion, Craig Ferguson of Byron and Linda (Bernie Ruggeri) Ferguson of Holley; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He is husband of the late Dorothy Ferguson and brother of the late Francis Ferguson and Lois Woods.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Street, Bergen. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the North Bergen Presbyterian Church, 7068 North Bergen Road, Bergen. Burial will be in North Byron Cemetery, Byron.
