Anna D. (Tresco) Palmer, 96, of Batavia, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.
Anna was "born on the 4th of July,"1918 in Batavia. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (DeFabio) Tresco. She was a member of Resurrection Parish.
A loving person, a devoted mother and a doting grandmother, Anna had many passions including cooking, crocheting, reading and praying. Anna will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include a son, Joseph (Jennie) Palmer of Citrus Springs, FL; three daughters, Anne (Fred) Degenhardt of Punta Gorda, FL; Peppi Palmer of Batavia; and Mary Jo (Steven) Ancona of East Brunswick, NJ; six grandchildren, Kelly (Lance) Shelpman of Ohio; Kelly (Joseph) Zambito of Punta Gorda, FL; Andrea (Ryan) Casey of Greenfield, NY; Sarah (Colleen) Schoenberger of Cleveland, OH; Kier (Geoffrey) Rocheleau of Orlando, FL; and John Ancona of East Brunswick, NJ; a brother-in-law, Sam Cammarata of North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Rose Tresco of Batavia; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anna is predeceased by her husband, John Palmer; a granddaughter, Meredith Degenhardt; a sister, Marie Emanuel and three brothers, Thomas, William and Gabriel Tresco.
There are no prior calling hours. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated for Anna on Saturday, November 29th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia.
