Byron - Arlene R. Ivison, 88, of Byron, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mrs. Ivison was born August 21, 1927 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Merrill and Irma (Cofran) Rudd.
Mrs. Ivison was a member of the South Byron Methodist Church and its former Esther Circle. She graduated from South Byron High School in 1945 and retired after 30 years as a dental assistant at Dr. Mulcahy’s Dental office in Batavia. St enjoyed Golf, knitting and crossword puzzles.
Her husband, Howard R. Ivison, died January 1, 2014.
Survivors include 4 children, Kenneth (Carol) Ivison of PA and FL, Karen (late David) Fuller of FL, William "Bo" Ivison of Batavia and Jane Ivison of Byron; a sister-in-law, Betty Rudd of FL; 5 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Beverly Ivison and sister of the late James Rudd and Lucille Bates.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at H.E. Turner & Co, Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia, where services will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Private Burial will be in Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Byron United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 135, South Byron, NY 14557.
