Bergen - B. Clyde Kreckman, 84, of Bergen, passed away suddenly on Tuesday (August 21, 2012) at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, in Brockport surrounded by his family.
Mr. Kreckman was born July 25, 1928 in Rochester, a son of the late Bennett and Flora (Blood) Kreckman.
For 30 years he worked as a millwright for Rochester Products - Division of General Motors.
Clyde is survived by a brother, Jack (Ruth) Kreckman of Mooresville, NC; his loving companion, Suzanne Redick of Bergen; 2 nephews, Stephen Kreckman of Reading, PA, and Tracy Kreckman of Escondido, CA; 1 niece, Ruth Heath of Liberty, MO; and several cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3 PM at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Street, Bergen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the the Bergen Volunteer Fire Department, in his memory.
