LeRoy - Mr. Bruce Borodich, 59, of LeRoy, passed away Wednesday, (May 15, 2013) at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mr. Borodich was born April 30, 1954 in Brooklyn, a son of John and Gladys (Golden) Borodich, both of Long Island.
Bruce served his country honorably with the Navy and in his younger years loved to go canoeing and playing pool. He was an avid Yankees fan, and greatly enjoyed attending games. In more recent years, he enjoyed movies, his computer, and was a champion chess player.
Surviving along with his parents are his wife, Jane (Johnson) Borodich, of LeRoy, two sisters, Audrey (Guy) Dertinger of Long Island, and Michel Burrows of CT; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bruce's name to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Drive, Amherst, NY 14226.
