Bergen/Bradenton, Fla. - Burdette O'Brien, 90, of Bergen, a 30 year employee of Eastman Kodak Company passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, in Bradenton, Florida.
An avid golfer, Tuck played golf at Cragie Brae in Scottsville. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and other yard games, watching baseball and was a fan of the New York Yankees. An avid fan of NASCAR, he and his wife would travel in their RV visiting many of the tracks across the country to watch the races. Above all else, Tuck loved his family and traveling around to watch his grandchildren's soccer games.
He is survived by his wife, Helen M. King O'Brien, whom he married July 31, 1948. He is the father of Patric (Susan) O'Brien of Spencerport and Lori (John) Andrieu of Chili; grandfather of Kory (Pam) Andrieu, Jesse (Jamie) Andrieu, Kasey (Dan) Phillips, Christopher Andrieu, Amy (Mike) Holtfoth and Katie (Erich) Boersch; great-grandfather of Madison, Landon, Ava, Ella, Lillian, Zoie and Harper; brother-in-law of Evelyn Tosh and Frances O'Brien. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no prior visiting hours. His memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Chili, 3182 Chili Avenue, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ogden Baptist Church, 721 Washington Street, Spencerport, New York 14559.
