Catherine E. Epperson

Batavia - Catherine E. (Koontz) Epperson, wife of William R. Epperson (deceased 1984) and mother of the late Willden D. Epperson (deceased 1986), daughter of the late Jacob Koontz and Marie G. (Bettis) Pendleton was born in Ventnor, New Jersey on July 24, 1930.   She passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2020 in Batavia, where she lived with her daughter’s family for 5 years. Catherine spent most of her life living in South Florida where she was a friend to many who knew her. She will be remembered as a caring and giving person. She is survived by her children; Jack Epperson and his wife Jennifer, Willdeanna Epperson Parkhurst and her husband Bob as well as her grandchildren Bob Jr. and Brice and her step daughter Iris Fortney. She also leaves her nieces and nephew, Mary, Catherine and Jacob from her brother Jacob F. Koontz. There are no prior visiting hours. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
