Oakfield - Chad M. Armbrewster, 40, of Oakfield, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officer with the US Department of Homeland Security in Batavia for the past 17 years, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.



Mr. Armbrewster was born October 3, 1973 in Medina, the son of Gerald (Debbie) Armbrewster of Oakfield and Carolyn "Carrie" (Menclewicz) (Gerard) Wittmeyer of Medina. He was the son-in-law of Beverly (DeSmith) Beckley of Oakfield and grandson of Nancy Gallaway of Oakfield.



Mr. Armbrewster graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from Buffalo State College and was a member of St. Padre Pio Parish. He was a talented artist. He enjoyed spending time with his family in outdoor activities. He was an avid muscle car enthusiast.



He is survived by his wife, Sonja (Beckley) Armbrewster, whom he married August 9, 2002; 2 sons, Gaige Armbrewster and Gavin Armbrewster, both of Oakfield; two sisters: Jeannine Armbrewster of Medina and Natalie (James) Emerson of Oakfield, 2 step-brothers, Jeffery (Laurie) Wittmeyer and Joseph Wittmeyer, both of Medina; 2 step-sisters, Mary Beth (Chris) Cook and Pamela (Kenneth) Johnson, both of Medina; a brother-in-law, Christopher (Pati) Beckley of VA; a sister-in-law, Sarah (Sean) Johnson of Caledonia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.



Friends may call on Sunday and Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecilia's Worship Site, 56 Maple Ave., Oakfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oakfield - Elba Youth Football, P.O. Box 243, Oakfield, NY 14125 or to the Oakfield-Alabama Little League, P.O. Box 44, Oakfield, NY 14125. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
