Bergen - David E. Culver, 60, of Bergen, a bus driver at Byron - Bergen Schools in Bergen, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mr. Culver was born August 13, 1954 in Rochester, a son of the late Earl N. and Lydia L. (Naum) Culver.
Mr. Culver graduated from Byron Bergen High School and had retired from Delco Products. He was a member of SCOPE, the NRA and was a state champion in the Bus Rodeo Competitions. He was a known as a good hearted person and was well liked in the community.
Survivors include his three children, David M. Culver (Gregory S. Wollaston) and Bridget (Chris) Cichocki, both of Rochester and Nicholas Culver of Batavia; two sisters, Deborah R. Culver of Bergen, and Dawn (Terry) Speed of Byron; a sister-in-law, Cindy Culver of Byron; his loving friend, Stacy Culver of Batavia, his grandchildren, Christopher, Anna, Lily and Xavier and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Daniel H. Culver.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co., Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake Street, Bergen where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilliam - Grant Community Center, 6969 W. Bergen Road, Bergen, NY 14416. Private burial will be in Riga Cemetery in Churchville, NY.
