Batavia - Dawn Wittcop, 54, of Batavia, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mrs. Wittcop was born January 11, 1961 in Ft. Worth, TX.
She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Shaw MS and enjoyed her grandchildren, her companion Roxie, crochet and reading.
She is the wife of the late C. Lamar Thomas who died on November 2, 2011.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Wesley (Leah) Thigpen, Melvin Lee (Cindy) Thomas and Oliver (Jamie) Thomas, all of Batavia; 9 grandchildren, Jessica Houseknecht, Tyler Kirst, Austin Houseknecht and Alyssa Houseknecht, Trinity, Lonna and Chris Thigpen, Mariah Thomas and Aiyanna Showler; as well as several siblings.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 20 North Pointe, Suite #130, Amherst, NY 14228. Arrangements were completed by H.E. Turner & Co., Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia.
