Derrick Jackson, 27, of Oakfield, died unexpectedly Friday (February 27, 2015) at his home in Oakfield.
He was born March 16, 1987 in Batavia, a son of Derrick (Judy) Jackson Sr. of Batavia and Joan Webb of Buffalo.
Derrick attended Oakfield Alabama Central School and enjoyed mixed martial arts and music.
Surviving along with his parents are his daughters, Gabryelle Jackson and Guilianna Jackson and mother Gina Schmidt of Rochester; girlfriend, Elizabeth Hamby and daughter Arianna Jackson of Oakfield; one brother, Jason Jackson of Batavia; a niece, Emma Jackson; a nephew, Ethan Jackson; his guardian, Ethel McNair and the McNair family; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Jackson, grandfather, John W. Jackson and an aunt Rhonda Ford Rolle.
Calling hours are Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the conclusion of calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to the family, to establish a trust fund for his daughters.
