Diana A. Eddy

Oakfield – Diana A. Eddy, 73, of Oakfield, passed away Thursday (April 9, 2020) at Hildebrandt Hospice in Rochester. Mrs. Eddy was born November 23, 1946 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Heaton) Krantz.  She graduated from Batavia High School.  Prior to her retirement, she was a clerk typist at Genesee –Valley Education Partnership. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Dee enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, watching Chicago Med and the Good Doctor, dancing, talking your ear off when the mood struck her, surprising others with her sports knowledge by spending too many days in bad weather supporting her sons sporting events, but the light of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.    She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert; children, Todd of Oakfield, Chris of Basom; step-children, Robert Eddy Jr. of North Carolina, Jodie (Bill) Fryer of Akron, Nicole Eddy of Corfu; grandchildren, Ty and Cole Kornow, Jasmine, Dominque and RJ Eddy and Marissa Bucci. Diana is predeceased by her brother, Robert and her sister, Maureen Krantz. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
