Churchville - Mr. Donald W. Yahn, 60, of Churchville, owner of Don Yahn Livestock in Cherry Creek, died suddenly Thursday, December 27, 2012.
Mr. Yahn was born September 2, 1952 in Macedon, a son of the late William and Marjorie Scott Yahn.
A member of the Moose Lodge in Churchville, he enjoyed horseback riding and had a deep love for his animals and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, JoAnn Peaker Yahn; his daughter, Lisa Yahn of Churchville; his grandson, Bryce Yahn of Churchville; two brothers, Richard Yahn of Nichols and Kevin Yahn of Pavilion; two sisters, Debbie (Dean) Everdyke of Macedon and Sheryll (Ron) Bremer of Phelps; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He predeceased by his daughter, Torry Yahn who died April 15, 1998.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Street, Bergen, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Riga Cemetery.
