Douglas R. Weig, 57, of LeRoy, died Wednesday (November 5, 2014) at Crossroads House in Batavia.
Doug was born August 15, 1957 in Buffalo, the son of Sally (Christ) Weig of Florida and the late Richard Weig.
Doug enjoyed gardening and karaoke. He was a machinist at Lexington Machine in Rochester.
Surviving along with his mother are his wife, Linda (Lampke) Weig of LeRoy; two daughters, Jennifer (Caleb) Hicks of Pennsylvania and Jeanette (Vince) Lapri of Chili; one son, Brandon Weig of Batavia; two grandsons, Conner Hicks and Logan Hicks, both of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Lusanne Simard of Batavia, Tracy Weig of Florida and Victoria Johnson of Rochester; his mother-in-law, Carol Irwin of LeRoy; three brothers-in-law, Rex (Janet) Lampke of Silver Springs, Steve (Lisa) Lampke of Ithaca and Dale Lampke of New York City; four sisters-in-law, Margaret (Craig) Hurley of LeRoy, Barb (John) Vescovi of LeRoy, Robin (Mark) Hall of Batavia and Amy (Rick) Weaver of Lockport and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is the son of the late Richard Weig; a son-in-law of the late David Irwin and a brother-in-law of the late William "Choppers" Lampke, JoAnn Miller and Ann Bonhan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
