Elizabeth Watkins, age 76, of Batavia, passed away on September 9, 2024 at her home.
She was born on May 7, 1948 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of the late Thomas and Teklah Ewing.
Elizabeth enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, journaling, and watching old movies, such as Gone with the Wind, Sound of Music, and all Disney movies. She loved bowling and had an opera voice that she displayed in singing all kinds of music. Elizabeth was a volunteer at the Board of Elections and in her younger years worked in hospice and at a train company.
She is survived by her children, Anthony Watkins, Brian Watkins, Thomas Watkins, Gwendolyn Snyder, Alexander Watkins Jr. and Timothy Watkins; siblings, Gaylord Ewing and Brenda Ewing; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In death Elizabeth is reunited with her parents; husband, Alexander Watkins Sr.; children, Susie Watkins and Rebecca Nichols.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. E. Turner & Co., Inc.
