Batavia - Mrs. Ermogene E. Sage, 94, of Batavia, died Wednesday, June 24, 2014 at Genesee County Nursing Home, in Batavia.
Mrs. Sage was born June 9, 1920 in Castile, the daughter of the late George and Lelia (Winegar) Streeter.
Her husband, Leslie J. Sage, died in 1971.
She is survived by her son, John L. (Rubie) Sage of Chiefland, FL, her brother, James (Rita) Streeter of Oxford, her daughter-in-law, Marlene Sage of New Hampshire; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her niece, Cheryl Streeter (Lawrence) Colantonio, great niece and great-nephews, Christopher (Alicia) Colantonio, Lawrence Streeter Colantonio and Tiffany Colantonio (Jeffrey) Ziozios.
She was the mother of the late Robert Sage.
There are no calling hours. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Genesee County Nursing Home, Alzheimer's Unit, 278 Bank Street, Batavia, NY 14020. Burial will be in Stafford Rural Cemetery.
