Gail A Ward

Rochester– Gail Ann Ward, age 76, passed away on Thursday, April 3 2025, at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

Gail was born on October 1, 1948 in Rochester, New York, a daughter of the late Charles & Mabel (Kent) Taggart.

She was a long time member of the Bergen United Methodist Church. Gail was a caring and generous woman who freely gave of herself. She donated to numerous organizations and enjoyed going to bible studies with her sister. Gail enjoyed crafting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, baking, and collecting owls. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving is her daughter, Amy (Chad) Michael; grandchild, Eli Michael; siblings, Nancy Specht, Maureen (Peter) Bosse, Judy Johnson, Terrance (Eunice) Taggart, and Thomas (Deborah) Taggart; her dog, Rex and many nieces and nephews.

In death Gail is reunited with her first husband, Edward Petrusek (2010) and second husband, Russell Ward (2019); brother in law, John Specht.

A funeral service for Gail will be held on April 9, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bergen United Methodist Church, 27 Lake Avenue, Bergen New York, 14416 with a luncheon to follow.
