Lake Forest, California - Geraldine Grace Morrison, age 85, of Lake Forest California, formerly of South Alabama New York and Weston, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, California.
Mrs. Morrison was born July 4, 1929 in Freemans Creek, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Erma (Crawford) Pratt.
She was a member of the Elba Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband of 40 years, Lawrence J. Morrison, passed away in 1989.
She is survived by her two younger sisters, Opal Phelps of Pembroke and Emma Matheny of Fairmont, West Virginia; two sons Larry Morrison and Gary Morrison; six grandchildren Kristi Moghaddam, Larry (Jr.) Morrison, Michael Morrison, Gary (Jr.) Morrison, Kelly Morrison, Amy Morrison and three great grandchildren Nicholas Moghaddam, Harper Morrison, Stella Morrison.
There are no prior visiting hours. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Elba, 31 South Main Street, Elba. Burial will be in Cary Cemetery, Oakfield. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Elba, 31 South Main Street, Elba, New York 14058.
