Gladys G. Hebenstreit
William “Leo” Hebenstreit died on July 7, 2014 at his home in McMinnville, Oregon. He was born in Missouri on October 4, 1915. He was married to Gladys Hebenstreit on December 30, 1978. He is survived by his wife Gladys. Also surviving are his daughters, Betty Ormsbee and Geraldine Cobb, both of CA and Janet Covana of TN and their families. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man.
Gladys G. Hebenstreit died at her home in McMinnville, Oregon on March 17, 2016. Gladys was born on April 19, 1917, in Oakfield, NY, a daughter of John and Elvina Habicust Weber. She was predeceased by her husband “Leo”, her brothers, Carl Weber, Duane Weber, Marvin Weber, Lloyd Weber and Lawrence Weber and her sisters, Margaret Meiser and Shirlee Weber.
She is survived by her step-daughters, Betty, Janet and Geraldine, her brother Stanley (Anna) Weber of Alabama, her sister, Onolee (late Charles) Grower and their families as well as a sister-in-law, Marcia (late Lloyd) Weber of Batavia and several multi-generational nieces and nephews.
Services for “Leo” and Gladys will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Oakfield United Methodist Church, 2 South Main St., Oakfield, NY 14125. Burial will be in Cary Cemetery, Oakfield at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice, 2275 N.E. McDaniel Ln., McMinnville, OR 97128 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
