Batavia - Mrs. Grace A. Donahue, age 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Clare Bridge Manor of Williamsville.
Born July 18, 1917, Mrs. Donahue was a daughter of the late Herbert Flood and Rosa Case Flood.
She was a graduate of Rochester Business Institute and a certified tax preparer who managed her husband's law office.
Mrs. Donahue was a Master Gardener and an avid bridge player who enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her family. She had a deep love for animals of all kinds.
Survivors include four daughters, Susan C. Badger of Batavia, Mary Ann Keen of Wahpeton, N.D., Caryn M. (Al) Kulenkamp of Cambridge, Ontario and Kathryn R. (Michael Fahey) Donahue of Batavia; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald M. Donahue in 1977, her son, D. Emmett Donahue in 2010 and her seven brothers and sisters.
Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street, Batavia. There are no prior visiting hours, but a celebration of her life will be held in June at a time and place to be announced.
