Batavia - Heather L. Stent, 39, of Batavia, passed away Tuesday, (April 24, 2012) at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Stent was born September 30, 1972 in Batavia, a daughter of the late David and Dorothy (Ferringer) Hopkins.
Heather will be remembered as a truly great woman as well as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was devoted to her family; her granddaughter was the love of her life.
Surviving is her husband, Stanley Stent, whom she married June 17, 2006; four children, Emily (Franklin) Nichols, Jessica Smith, Travis, and Austin Bartz all of Batavia; a granddaughter, Payton Nichols; siblings, Heidi and David Hopkins both of Perry, and Mickey Hopkins of Barker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Heather is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hopkins and her grandmother, Eleanor Ferringer.
