Herta M. Wight, 88, of Batavia, died Friday (March 13, 2015) at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.
Herta was born July 3, 1926 in Karlsruhe Baden, Germany, a daughter of the late Rudolf and Anna Marie (Wieler) Jaeger.
She was an inspector at GTE Sylvania in Batavia.
Survivors include one son, Glenn (Grisel) Fuller of Orlando, FL.; a grandson, Gabriel Fuller; several step-daughters, step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Herta is predeceased by her husband, Harold D. Wight and a sister, Erna E. Jaeter.
All services were private and burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
Memorials may be made to the family, to be distributed to Herta's favorite charities. The memorials can be mailed to Glenn Fuller, 2308 Buckingham Run Court, Orlando, FL 32828.
