Batavia - Mr. Jack L. Bush, age 79, of Batavia, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
He was born March 23, 1933, in Warsaw, a son of the late Lewis and Charlotte Stevens Bush.
Jack enjoyed playing pool, working on cars and playing cards. He liked walking to the Pok-A-Dot where he would meet up with friends and have coffee. He loved spending time with his family and mingling with people.
He is survived by three sisters; his twin, Joyce Bassett of Batavia, Diana Dumbleton and Marilyn (Harley) Christie, both of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Linda Bush of Elba and several nieces and nephews.
He is the brother of the late Gerald, Homer, Wayne and Richard Bush, June Monagan and Phyllis Irwin.
Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, where services will follow at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery.
