Batavia - Jason Lewis Tinklepaugh, 44, of Batavia, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia. Mr. Tinklepaugh was born April 13, 1973 in Oyster Bay, NY, a son of Bonita J. (Tinklepaugh) of Batavia. He was a member of Northgate Free Methodist Church and the Genesee Orleans ARC. He enjoyed ceramics as well as many other crafts. Surviving along with his mother is his brother, Adam E. Tinklepaugh of Oakfield and sister, Christine D. Tinklepaugh of Batavia; 2 grandmothers, Louisa Tinklepaugh and Leona B. Jones; 2 aunts, Mary R. Jones of Batavia and Brandy Syfrit of DE; 5 cousins, Jacquelyn M. Jones of Oakfield, Sheldon L. Jones and Joshua Jones, both of Batavia, Leon (Gayle) Syfrit of NV and Lee P. (Emily) Jones of Caledonia and their children, Maggie Jones and Lj Jones, both of Caledonia. He was the grandson of the late Lester E. Tinklepaugh and Dorothy McCormick. Friends may call on Thursday from 3 to 4:30 pm at Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank St., Batavia, where services will immediately follow at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ARC of Genesee-Orleans, 64 Walnut Street, Batavia, NY 14020 or to Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank St Rd, Batavia, NY 14020. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Batavia.
