Mr. Jerry S. Wasiulewski, 62, of Oakfield, died Saturday (August 30, 2014) at his home in Oakfield while under the care of his loving family and Hospice.
Jerry was born September 23, 1951 in Stafford, England, the son of Peter Wasiulewski of Oakfield and the late Mary (Gadawa) Wasiulewski, who died in 2003.
Jerry loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandson and was proud of being a union carpenter with the Local 280 in Niagara Falls. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.
Surviving along with his father are his wife, Jean (Sweet) Wasiulewski of Oakfield; five children, Rachil (Billy) Oliver of Bennettsville, SC, Travis (Stacie) Wasiulewski of Batavia, Crystal (Scott) Dugan of Albion, Jeri Marie Diaz of Albion and Maryann Forsha of Albion; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He is a grandfather of the late April Diaz who died in 1997.
Calling hours are Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday also at the funeral home.
