Batavia - June Cotton Vukman, 87, went to be with our Lord September 16, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Buffalo, NY on January 21, 1930, a daughter of Andrew and Mildred Baube Cotton. She is predeceased by the “love of her life”, Roy J. Vukman, who passed away January 24, 1997 and her brother Lloyd and sister-in-law, Ethel. She was Supervisor of the Town of Batavia for eighteen years, a job she loved. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Gerald (Susan) Vukman of Oakfield, Dr. Ronald (Elizabeth) Vukman of Rochester; her daughter, Patricia Swift of Niagara Falls; 8 grandchildren, Michelle (Gary) Patnode, Stephen Vukman, Christine (Phillip) Auman, Joanne Vukman, Matthew Vukman, Timothy Vukman, Emily Vukman and Zachery Swift; 2 great-grandchildren, Gary and Jonathan Patnode; and 3 nieces. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Batavia First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Grand View Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
