Batavia - Mrs. Kathleen A. (nee Netter) Berra, 58, of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Buffalo General Hospital.



Mrs. Berra was born October 23, 1955 in Buffalo, a daughter of Jamie Roberts Netter of Batavia and the late John Netter. She is also survived by her husband, Joe Berra of Batavia.



Kathy will be remembered by her family as a loving, wonderful, smart, giving person who never expected anything in return. All that she did, she did out of love.



Kathy was considered "the fun aunt", she always made sure all of her nieces and nephews had great activities to enjoy at all the family picnics that she loved so much.



Kathy enjoyed going to dinner for an O'Lacy Burger with her best friend and husband, Joe.



Surviving along with her mother and her husband; her step-daughter, Lindsay Berra-Clemm of Batavia, her granddaughter, Allyson Clemm; loving brothers and sisters, George (Cheryl) Netter of Batavia, Amy (John) Huntzinger of Batavia, John (late Nadine) Netter of Lancaster, Sharon (Ron) Kinney of Batavia, Ginny Marble of Batavia, Lorrie L. (Timothy) Storrs of East Amherst, Susie (Damon) Ausman of Dover Plains; and Thomas Netter, of Oakfield. Loving nieces and nephews, Sherrie Timothy, Michael Netter, Steven (Nikki) Huntzinger, Robert Huntzinger, Allison Marble, Janelle Marble, Ashley Marble, Matthew (Dennille) Marble, Taylor Storrs, Hayley Storrs, Jamie Lee Reece, Damon Ausman, Jr. and Adam Ausman; several great-nieces and nephews she adored. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Berra of Batavia.



Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia, where a prayer service will follow at 1 p.m. Following the prayer service at the funeral home, all are invited to DeWitt Park in Batavia where friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate Kathy's life by doing what she loved most, a family picnic.
