She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, Carol Aiken and Joan Russell; 23 great-nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was the mother of the late Dennis Gill, mother-in-law of Barbara Burr Gill and sister of the late John O'Connor, Sr. and DeEtte Chamberlain.
