Batavia - Keith W. Passmore, 87, of Batavia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his home in Batavia.
Mr. Passmore was born February 14, 1929 in Mount Morris, a son of the late Leon Passmore and Dorothea Williams Passmore.
Mr. Passmore worked at LeRoy Machine for over 20 years prior to working and retiring from U.S. Gypsum in Oakfield. He was an avid reader, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles. He will be remembered by all as a dedicated and loving family man.
He is survived by his children, Carol E. (late Patrick) Avino of Batavia, Susan M. Sullivan of Rochester and Kenneth W. Passmore of Indianapolis, Indiana; several grandchildren including Timothy (Missy McClurg) Brown of Batavia; great-grandchildren including Johnni Brown of South Fallsburg; his sister, Beverly (John) Murnan of Tonawanda and several nieces and nephews.
He is the father of the late Thomas Richard Passmore and brother of the late Leon, Warren and Hillyer Passmore, Shirley Robinson and Phyllis DuBois.
There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest in Mount Morris Cemetery. Memorials in Keith's name may be made to Friends of the Richmond Memorial Library, 19 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, New York 14020.
