Kenneth A. Roberts, 75, of Hinsdale, passed away on December 11, 2022 at Rochester General Hospital.
Ken was born December 11, 1947 in Olean, a son of the late Bruce and Esther (Luzier) Roberts.
Ken's career took many paths that ultimately led to being owner/operator of Ken Roberts Construction. His greatest passions outside of his family were theater and sports. He realized his love for sports as a Coach at many levels for track and field, basketball, and football. His love for theater was fueled by his participation as a founding member of Olean Community Theater. He served actively both on stage and behind the scenes for over 45 years highlighted by fulfilling his life's dream to play the lead role of Tevya in Fiddler on the Roof.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Roberts; children, Christopher (Kimberly) Roberts of Howell, NJ, Jason (Staci) Roberts of Batavia and Jolene (William) Sawvel of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Diane (George) Wickes of Rochester; a brother, Barry Roberts of Rochester; a sister-in-law, Connie (Terry) Briggs, a sister-in-law, Betty Lou Prince; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his brother, David Roberts; father-in-law, John Price; mother-in-law, Margaret Prince; brothers-in-law, Dale Prince, Kevin Prince, and John Prince Jr.; sisters-in-law Darlene Mills and Hannah Roberts.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service at this time.
