Kenneth E. Scheiber, 65, of Medina and formerly of South Byron, died Friday (May 9, 2014) at the Buffalo General Hospital.
Mr. Scheiber was born November 9, 1948 in Batavia, a son of the late Daniel and Beatrice (Shultz) Scheiber.
A lifetime member of the South Byron Fire Department, Ken loved his grandsons very much and was a mechanic at International Paper in Rochester.
Survivors include his wife, Diane (Bates) Scheiber of Medina; two sons, Pete (Deb) Scheiber of Oakfield and Charles (Joyce) Scheiber of Chili; two grandsons, Collin Scheiber of Oakfield and Ryan Scheiber of Chili; one brother, Robert (Vicky) Scheiber of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Donna Morrow of Rochester and Barbara Thompson of Avon and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the conclusion of calling hours, also at the funeral home.
