Alexander - Laura Seaver Stranger, 93, of Alexander, a Registered Nurse at St. Lawrence Central School in Basher Falls, NY prior to her retirement, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her home in Alexander.
Mrs. Stranger was born July 21, 1921 in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late John and Ella (Winship) Seaver.
Her husband, Homer Stranger, died in 1999.
She attended Northgate Free Methodist Church and was a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Lawrenceville Firemen's Auxiliary and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son, Howard Stranger of Malden, MA; her daughter, Carolyn (John) Caccamise of Alexander; 2 grandchildren, Christian Caccamise of New Britain, CT and Aaron Caccamise of Alexander; a sister, Rachel Shaw of Hackettstown, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Seaver and Stanley Seaver.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank Street, Batavia, New York 14020.
