Avon - Lee F. Toal, 69, of Avon, passed away Thursday, (May 19, 2016) at Teresa House, in Geneseo, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Toal was born March 8, 1947 in Batavia, a son of the late Francis and Martha (Scott) Toal.
Lee was a gifted mechanic and carpenter. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Most of all, Lee was a family man. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is the husband of Carol (Armbrewster) Toal. The two enjoyed 50 years of marriage having celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 26.
Surviving along with his wife is a daughter, Barbara (Karl) Kilthau of IL; grandchildren, Justin (Pearl) Kilthau, Joshua Kilthau, Dana (Stephanie) Kilthau, Tara (Franklin) Boucherie, Leann Keech, Noah Toal, and Ethan Toal; great-grandchildren, Eric and Josiah Kilthau, Alexis, Kylie, and Braylin Boucherie, and Bentley Kilthau; two brothers, Donald (late Nadine) Toal of Idaho and Neal (Diane) Toal of FL; two sisters, Sylvia (Curt) Maskell, and Carol (late Albert) Huff both of Batavia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Lee is preceded in death by his son, Lee M. Toal, a granddaughter, Kendra Leigh Toal, and brothers, Carl and James Toal.
Friends may call on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co, Inc., 403 East Main St., Batavia. Lee’s Funeral Service will immediately follow calling hours at 4:00 p.m.
