Bergen - Leon F. Fox, 84, of Bergen, a foreman at J.G. Turner in Rochester prior to his retirement, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Rochester General Hospital.
Mr. Fox was born February 28, 1929 in Lyons, a son of the late Leon G. and Mary V. (Keif) Fox.
He was a member of St. Brigid's Church in Bergen.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Forsyth) Fox whom he married on September 2, 1950; 3 daughters, Ann (David) Terrinoni of San Antonio, TX, Jane Gracie of LeRoy, and Susan (Michael) Grasso of Batavia; a daughter-in-law, Amie Batz Fox of Bergen; 2 sisters, Marjorie Hohn of FL and Joan Zorn of Brockport; a sister-in-law, H. Jane Fox of Byron; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Richard F. Fox who died on March 16, 2010 and brother of the late Robert E. Fox.
Friends may attend his Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Brigid's Church, 18 Gibson St., Bergen. Memorials may be made to Bergen Fire Department, P.O. Box 428, Bergen, NY 14416.
