Batavia - Linda C. Dibble, 71, of Batavia, an employee of P.W. Minor Shoe Factory, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Crossroads House in Batavia. Mrs. Dibble was born September 13, 1946 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Robert and Frieda (Gramp) Hummel. She was a 1965 graduate of Alexander High School and she enjoyed baking and was an avid bowler in the "Jack & Jill" League and the Thursday Nite League. She is survived by her husband, Stephen H. Dibble, whom she married June 19, 1965; a son, Todd (Deborah) Dibble of FL; 3 brothers, Rudy (Jackie) Hummel of TN, Norm (Mary Lou) Hummel of E. Pembroke and Kenny (Janet) Hummel of NC; 3 sisters, Elsie Duckworth of Fredonia, Elfrieda (Dave) Bridge of Stafford and Shirley Evans of Fillmore; a brother-in-law, Jerry Martin; 2 grandchildren, Anthony Dibble of Batavia and Bethani Dibble of FL; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul H. Dibble who died in 1988 and sister of the late Robert Hummel, Ernie Hummel, Eleanor Luce and Alice Martin. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm at H.E. Turner & Co, Inc., 403 East Main St., Batavia, where services will follow at1 pm. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in Batavia.
