Linda Kirsop

Batavia - Linda A. Kirsop, 77 of Batavia, passed away on Friday, (December 31, 2021) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Mrs. Kirsop was born June 28, 1944 in Medina, a daughter of the late Millard and Ellen Thompson.

Linda retired from the Genesee County Nursing Home where she worked as a CNA. She enjoyed playing online games, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. In her younger years she was an avid bowler. Linda was a caregiver at heart and truly enjoyed caring for others.

Surviving are her husband, Timothy P. Kirsop of Batavia; children, Charles (Debbie) Weaver, Scott (Cathy) Weaver, Tina (Rich) Hagen all of Batavia; Todd Weaver of Middleport, and Josh (Stephanie) Kirsop of Henrietta; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bailey Weaver; great-grandson, Landon Taylor; brother, Raymond Thompson; sisters, Lois (late Ben) Starr, Loretta (late Jerry) Martino, Mary (late Al) Smith, and Katie Feldman.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, (January 6, 2022) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street in Batavia, where Linda 's Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Oakfield.
