Lois Youngs

Bergen - Lois Youngs, 85, of Bergen, passed away Sunday, (July 8, 2018) at Unity Hospital, in Rochester. Mrs. Youngs was born June 20, 1933 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Harold and Sarah (Davis) Fitzgerald. Lois enjoyed collecting cows, reading, crocheting, feeding the birds, and volunteering her time at the library in Bergen. She is the wife of the late John H. Youngs, who passed away on January 20, 2000. Surviving are her children, Julie (Robert P.) Schroeder of Bergen, Becky (Thomas) Dysart of Bergen, Melody (Preston) Leone of Churchville, and John (Joyce) Youngs, II of Greece; a sister, B.J. (Bob) Sledge of Hemet, Cali.; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Lois is predeceased by her brother, Harold Fitzgerald; and sisters, Jerry Lane, Mildred Erb, and Ruth Covington. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Street, Bergen. Lois' Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, (July 12, 2018) at the funeral home.
