Her husband, Salvatore "Sam" San Fratello, passed away on September 16, 1995, one year before their 50th anniversary. They met during the early years of World War II. She is also predeceased by her grandson, Jason Grizzanto who passed away on December 30, 2006 and her brothers, Sam, Lawrence and John Giuliano.
