Batavia - Miss Loretta M. Gibbons, of Batavia, inspector at Doehler-Jarvis for over 40 years, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014.
Miss Gibbons was born in Batavia, a daughter of the late Peter J. and Ellen Rowan Gibbons.
A member of Resurrection Parish, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's School, Batavia High School and was a member of the quarter century club at Doehler-Jarvis.
She is survived by her sister, Monica A. Gibbons of Batavia; her cousin, Eugene (Annette) Drexel and their family of Rochester; and several dear friends.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street, Batavia. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum.
