Batavia - Loretta A. Capuano Greco, 83, of Batavia, longtime member of Resurrection Parish in Batavia, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Genesee County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Greco was born June 5, 1931 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Coticchio Capuano.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome F. Greco, whom she married October 30, 1954; her son, Charles (Rebecca) Greco of Waddell, Arizona, her grandchildren, Yvonne (Jonathan) Simons who is currently stationed in Chavez, Belgium and Anthony J. Greco of Ohio; her great-granddaughter, Chloe Haley of Henrietta and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Vincent, Larry, Salvatore and Anita Capuano and Marie DiPietro.
There are no prior visiting hours. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish - St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street, Batavia. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite #6, Williamsville, New York 14221-7380. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery.
