Batavia - Louanne J. Tidd, 46, of Batavia, passed away Friday, (July 8, 2016) at the Genesee County Nursing Home, in Batavia, following a long illness.
Mrs. Tidd was born September 21, 1969 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Perkins) Davis.
Louanne was a loving, forgiving and head strong person. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed collecting dolphins and unicorns. She will be remembered for her love of hot pink and black. Most of all, she loved her family dearly.
She is the wife of Alan Tidd, Sr., whom she married July 21, 1988 in Albany.
Surviving along with her husband are her children, Charlene Tidd of Oakfield, Alan Tidd, Jr. of Batavia, and Zachary Tidd of Elba; grandchildren, Marcia and Adon of Oakfield; brothers, Charles Davis of Oakfield, and Stephen (Jane) Davis of Albany; sisters, Frances (Daryl) Hooten of Oakfield, Roxanne (Dean) Pittman of Albion. Several nieces and nephews along with many friends at the Genesee County Nursing Home also survive.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kimberly Tidd and an infant grandson, Jacob "Jaz" Tidd.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Genesee County Nursing Home for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided for Louanne.
Friends may call on Monday from 10 to 12 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where Louanne's Funeral Service will immediately follow calling hours at 12. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Private burial will take place at a later date.
