Louis Paul Kubicka
In loving memory of Louis Paul Kubicka, "Wayman," 82, of Stafford, who passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at his home.
Louis was born November, 1941 in Chicago, son of the late Joseph Louis and Dorothy Ann Kubicka (née Trksak).
He served with the American Friends Service Committee, Vietnam (1967 -1971); was Indochina Representative in Laos (1974-1978); and was a member of the Rochester Zen Center, living at Chapin Mill from 2001 – 2024, and ordained as a Buddhist priest in 2009.
Surviving are his wife, Eryl Kubicka (married June, 1970); children, Rhiannon (spouse Theodore) and David Kubicka; grandchildren, Olwyn and Montague; and his brother Edward (wife Kristina) Kubicka and niece Alexis.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Jan Kubicka.
Arrangements were entrusted to the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Batavia, (585) 343-8868.
