Batavia - Lucille Ann Prospero Caruso entered eternal Life on Sunday May 15th, 2022 at the LeRoy Village Green in LeRoy.
Friends and family called her by her nickname "Bonnie".
Lucille was born September 28, 1943 to the late Arthur and Susan Pastore Prospero.
Lucille was a cashier at Tops Market in Batavia for 35 years. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, and trips to the Casino. She was a fan of the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Anthony P. Caruso, whom she married January 19, 1963; her three daughters, Frances Caruso of Florida, Carin Caruso (Peter Guppenberger) of Batavia and Mary Beth Suozzi of Batavia. Lucille also is survived by her 3 grandchildren that she truly loved; Alan-Anthony Fitzsimmons, Emily Fitzsimmons and Patrick Joseph Suozzi; her brother, Nicholas Prosero, Sr. as well as her granddog, Oli.
She is predeceased by her son-in-law, Patrick Suozzi and her brother, William "Bill" Prospero.
There are no prior calling hours. Her graveside service will take place at St. Joseph's Mausoleum on Thursday, May 19th at 12:00PM.
