Batavia - Margaret Scibetta, 93, of Batavia, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Genesee County Nursing Home, in Batavia.
Mrs. Scibetta was born September 19, 1921 in Albion, a daughter of the late Thomas and Valerie (Depczyzinski) Pahura.
She was a member of the former St. Anthony's Church in Batavia
Her husband, Peter Scibetta, died July 3, 2000.
Survivors include her son, Peter (Norma) Scibetta, Jr. of Webster; 2 brothers, Ed (Loretta) Pahura and John Pahura, both of Albion; a sister-in-law, Corinne Pahura of Albion; 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late David Scibetta and sister of the late Rita Pahura and Thomas Pahura.
Friends may attend her Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Church, 106 South Main St., Albion, NY. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, Western NY Chapter, 2805 Wehrle Dr. Ste. 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380. Private entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum in Batavia.
