Byron - Margarite R. Burfeindt, 76, of Byron, passed away Thursday, (December 12, 2013) at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, in Rochester.
Mrs. Burfeindt was born December 6, 1937 in Solsville, NY, a daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Fallon) Roberts.
Margarite was well known for her love of cooking. She greatly enjoyed reading and flowers.
She is the wife of Albert E. Burfeindt. The two were married October 15, 1960.
Surviving along with her husband, are her daughters, Brenda Schelemanow of Batavia, and Bonnie (John) McElver of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Amanda and Allison Schelemanow, Nicholas and Jonathan McElver; brothers, Robert (Grace) Roberts of TN, Harry (Susan) Roberts of AK; a sister, June (James) Calhoun of Bouckville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Plains Dialysis Center, 587 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020 or Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester 14626. Arrangements were entrusted to the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 Lake Ave., Bergen.
