Basom/Scio/Wichita, KS- Mary J. Gregory, 97, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Basom and Scio, a caretaker at the Migrant Day Care Center, in Batavia for 15 years, died October 12, 2016, at her home in Wichita, while under the care of Good Shepard Hospice.
Mrs. Gregory was born December 5, 1918 in Tierra Amarilla, NM, the daughter of the late Rogue and Ascion (Archulla) Aguilar.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard S. Gregory and her daughter M. LaVerne Goodell.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Sherry) Gregory of Scio; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be scheduled at a later date. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bolivar, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Parkway West, Amherst, NY 14228. Arrangements were completed by Burdett and Sanford Funeral Home of Oakfield
